There is also some information at the bottom of this page on two health issues that are important to me; Fibromyalgia and Lupus. I feel everyone needs to be aware of these diseases because they often go undiagnosed.

*FIBROMYALGIA*
Fibromyalgia started out as a syndrome that few doctors understood. A miriad of symptoms that were varied drastically from person to person. It has now met the requirements to be classified as a Disease.
It is very important to get information out about this life altering illness, that causes tremendous amounts of pain and robs us of our youth. Many people have it and do not know. Many are misdiagnosed or thought to be hypochondriacs. This attacks mostly women over the age of 30 but can affect men and younger women as well.

LUPUS QUEST
This site was created and is owned by a very special friend whom I met while playing
backgammon online. We have become "Cyber Friends" and his page holds a special
meaning for me as my youngest sister has Lupus as well. More and more people are
being diagnosed with this and an alarming number of people haven't a clue
what it is all about. Some of the symptoms are very similar to Fibromyalgia Syndrome in that it causes excruciating pain, memory and sleep problems, and many more. Lupus; however; can be much more devastating to the organs of the body and cause failure in those organs.
